At First General Services we have received the designation of Certified Restoration Specialists. This means we go through hands-on training, must achieve a required percentage on the tests to receive the following certifications and go through Continuing Education each year to maintain our certifications. We have received the designation of Certified Firm from the IICRC. I have earned the IICRC designation of Certified Applied Microbial Remediation Technician, Journeyman Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician, Journeyman Textile Cleaning Technician, Journeyman Water Restoration Technician, Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, and Odor Control. I have also earned the designation of Certified Mold Inspector from MICRO. We are preferred vendors for several of the larger insurance companies. We are also a member of the Rochester Area Builders, Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.

My 20 years of experience in the insurance business and 15 years of volunteer firefighting has proven to be extremely beneficial when dealing with insurance losses.
